Retirement Planning

For many people, personal savings is a vital piece of their retirement future. Such savings is especially important for those not covered by a traditional retirement plan – namely Independent Contractors. NICA is proud to announce that there is a Traditional IRA retirement plan available to all affiliated members as well as a Roth IRA retirement plan. With a Traditional IRA, you can make a tax deductible IRA contribution whenever you have earned income. The Roth IRA provides no deduction for contributions, and as with a Traditional IRA, earnings are not taxed while in your Roth IRA. This potentially allows them to grow more rapidly than in a taxable investment. Due to NICA’s buying power, we have had the initial funding of $250 waived to further help our members. NICA hopes that members will take advantage of this service and begin saving for retirement today!

NICA, Inc. and any NICA employees are not financial advisors and are legally unable to provide financial advice, investment recommendations and any other financial suggestions. - Refer to Fidelity.
